Product Description

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is a weakly basic anion exchange resin featuring tertiary amine groups [-N(CH₃)₂] on a macroporous styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. Its mild alkalinity enables effective removal of organic pigments, inorganic acids, and silicate ions in acidic and near-neutral media. It also adsorbs larger molecular impurities and performs well in non-aqueous solutions. This resin offers high regeneration efficiency, large exchange capacity, strong resistance to contamination, and excellent mechanical strength.

Application Scenarios

Industry‑oriented Application Overview

Built upon macroporous styrene‑divinylbenzene polymer backbone and loaded with tertiary amine functional groups, D301 delivers notable tolerance against organic contaminants. It shows satisfactory regenerative performance after saturated adsorption and is compatible with partial non‑aqueous processing environments. This resin finds wide deployment across food processing, electroplating waste disposal, water demineralization, hydrometallurgical separation and fine chemical purification workflows.
  1. Food‑Grade Syrup Processing for Sugar Manufacturing

Applied in the refining segment of cane and beet sugar production lines. D301 traps chromophoric substances, colloidal impurities and acid‑forming salts from sugar juice. It helps bring down color intensity of intermediate syrup, lessens reliance on activated carbon consumption and stabilizes final sugar product quality for downstream crystallization.
  2. Chromium Resource Recovery from Electroplating Effluents

Serves as a core treatment medium for spent rinse water from electroplating workshops. It selectively captures chromate and dichromate anions out of complex wastewater matrix. Recovered chromium can be recycled back to production lines, while treated effluent meets local discharge requirements. It fits both end‑of‑pipe disposal and on‑site water reuse projects for metal‑plating facilities.
  3. Demineralized Water Generation for Organic‑rich Raw Water Sources

Paired with strong‑acid cation resin in industrial water treatment trains. It targets silicate species, dissociated mineral acids and humic‑type organic contaminants contained in surface water or underground water with high organic loading. The produced deionized water can serve as process feed water and makeup water for circulating cooling systems of manufacturing plants.
  4. Purification of Leaching Solutions in Hydrometallurgical Operations

Used for polishing metal‑bearing leachate generated from ore‑leaching procedures. The resin adsorbs complex anions of rare and precious metals, enabling targeted enrichment of valuable metal components. Impurity anions are simultaneously removed to streamline subsequent metallurgical separation steps such as solvent extraction and precipitation.
  5. Broth Polishing in Biochemical Fermentation Processes

Acts as a pre‑processing medium for fermentation broths prior to downstream separation. It mitigates excess acidity and removes pigmented by‑products accumulated during microbial metabolism. By lowering impurity burden, it improves separation efficiency of follow‑up filtration, crystallization and extraction units and raises overall product yield.
  6. Deacidification of Organic Media in Fine‑chemical Processes

Apart from aqueous‑phase operations, D301 can be utilized within limited organic solvent systems. It scavenges residual acidic impurities mixed in organic feedstocks, accomplishing purification tasks for specific non‑aqueous fine‑chemical material streams.
