Product Description

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is a weakly basic anion exchange resin featuring tertiary amine groups [-N(CH₃)₂] on a macroporous styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer. Its mild alkalinity enables effective removal of organic pigments, inorganic acids, and silicate ions in acidic and near-neutral media. It also adsorbs larger molecular impurities and performs well in non-aqueous solutions. This resin offers high regeneration efficiency, large exchange capacity, strong resistance to contamination, and excellent mechanical strength.

Industry‑oriented Application Overview

Built on cross‑linked macroporous styrene‑divinylbenzene framework and functionalized with tertiary amine groups, D301 weak‑base anion exchange resin features robust organic fouling resistance and excellent regenerability upon adsorption saturation. It can operate stably in partial non‑aqueous environments. Widely deployed across sugar processing, electroplating wastewater recycling, industrial water desalination, hydrometallurgy, biochemical fermentation and fine‑chemical purification industries.

Sugar & Sweetener Purification

Applied for refining cane sugar, beet sugar and starch‑derived sweeteners. D301 adsorbs color‑causing macromolecules, colloids and acid salts in crude sugar liquor. It lowers syrup chroma, reduces activated carbon consumption and solid waste generation, delivering stable feed fluid for crystallization and ensuring superior whiteness and shelf‑life stability of final sugar goods.

Hexavalent Chromium Recovery from Electroplating Wastewater

Acts as core adsorption medium for plating rinse wastewater. It selectively captures chromate and dichromate anions from complex wastewater matrices. Regenerated chromium‑rich eluate can be recycled back to plating production. Treated effluent meets discharge norms or supports on‑site water reuse, suitable for both batch and continuous treatment systems of metal finishing plants.

Demineralized Water Production for Organic‑rich Source Water

Used in combination with strong‑acid cation resin in industrial water treatment lines. It removes silicates, mineral acids and humic organics from organics‑laden surface water or groundwater. The resulting deionized water serves as process water and circulating cooling makeup water, mitigating scaling risks for pipelines and heat exchangers.

Leachate Purification & Valuable‑Metal Enrichment for Hydrometallurgy

Suitable for deep polishing of ore leachate. D301 adsorbs complex anions of rare and precious metals to concentrate target valuable components, while stripping interfering impurity anions. It simplifies downstream metallurgical workflows such as solvent extraction and precipitation, cuts reagent dosage and elevates end‑product metal purity.

Fermentation Broth Pretreatment for Biochemical Production

Serves as pre‑treatment step prior to biochemical separation and refining. It neutralizes excess acidity and adsorbs pigmented metabolic by‑products. With reduced impurity load, downstream filtration, crystallization and extraction equipment run more efficiently, boosting target product yield and lowering overall production expenses.

Non‑aqueous Deacidification for Fine‑chemical Streams

Besides aqueous‑phase applications, D301 tolerates certain organic‑solvent systems. It strips residual acidic impurities within organic feedstock streams to achieve deacidification purification, restraining unwanted side‑reactions and enhancing finished‑product quality for fine‑chemical manufacturing.
